Why you need a Savior

Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." 
 The reason man needs a savior is because we have sinned. As sinners, there is not a thing we can do to earn our way into Heaven. No matter how good we are, we fall short of God's perfection. 
 
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death..." 
 As sinners, we deserve to pay the penalty for sin.

Jesus Is The Only Way

Jesus is the answer for man's sin problem. 
 Romans 6:23 says, "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." 
 Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no man comes to the Father, but by Him (John 14:6).  

If you have been trusting in other things such as church membership, baptism, good deeds, please realize that only Jesus can save. 
 The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."  

Salvation and an eternal home in heaven is the free gift to anyone who believes in Christ and nothing else.

Believe In Jesus Christ 
Jesus Christ desires to be your friend and wants a close relationship with you. Only through the blood of Christ, which was shed on Calvary's cross, can you become a friend of God.

Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

All it takes to accept Jesus Christ into your heart i s to acknowledge your sin and your need for a savior, believing that if you turn from your sin and accept Christ as your savior, you can be saved

Pray This Prayer
If you would like to receive Jesus as your personal Savior and you are ready to trust Him with all your heart, pray this prayer earnestly:

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and I need a Savior. Right now I turn from my sin and accept You as my Lord and Savior. I am trusting You and You alone for my salvation, believing that You died and rose again from the grave. I thank You for saving me

Now What?
If you have prayed this prayer and mean it with all your heart then you have been saved. It is important that you associate yourself with a Bible-believing church that can teach you to grow in Christ. Make an effort to attend a church like this one to know more about Jesus.
